KAOS is a new voluntary group set up to promote the visual arts in Kingston, through open studios, exhibitions and community events. Susan Matthews

Local artist Susan Matthews – is studying with Charles Penny at the King Charles Centre, Surbiton. She has painted numerous works of a variety of local interest and landscape subjects on canvas and board in both oils and acrylics – and a selection of these are for sale. A catalogue of thumbnail images, sizes and prices is available as a PDF document through Kingston Online by request. All of Susan’s paintings are also available as handmade gift cards with envelopes – at the very reasonable price of £1-50 each plus p&p.

Cressida Borrett – ceramic artist

I am a Kingston based potter mostly making contemporary kitchen and tableware in stoneware as well as ceramic pictures. I sell at local craft fairs and from my studio and am happy to make commissions for that special wedding gift or birthday present. Suzy Abrahams works from her studio in Thames Ditton, on the shared site with the Thames Ditton Model Railway. Her work is contemporary and she paints mainly in acrylic and mixed media. Visitors are welcome to view paintings at her studio by appointment or browse her online galleries. Visitors can browse through just under 100 paintings and prints and can purchase directly from the website using all major credit cards or paypal.

Charlotte Stockley – ceramic artist – charlottestockley.co.uk

Charlotte Stockley is a local artist who produces high quality tableware and other affordable ceramics. Much of her work is thrown on the wheel using stoneware clay. She also produces a range of tiles, and commissions are welcome. Charlotte exhibits at craft fairs and her work is available through several gallery outlets. I am a Peruvian born artist based in London. I love painting ordinary people, including farm workers, street musicians and women, feelings and sensations, the street life, the richness inherent in the mixing of cultures in cities are prominent in many of my paintings. I uses different mediums for my paintings, but my most recent works have been creating with acrylics and palette knife, this enables me to create paintings with forceful strokes more quickly capturing the moment of inspiration.
