Bentalls Department Store Bentalls started life as a draper’s shop in 1867 and by 1935 it had grown into a large, prestigious department store. The building (above left) was designed by Maurice Webb who also built the Guild Hall. Webb took his inspiration from Christopher Wren’s work on Hampton Court.
Bentalls is a Fenwick store and delivers everything you would expect: top brands in clothing, cosmetics, home-wear, appliances, electronics and food areas including Carluccios. Bentalls also has services including a foreign exchange.
