Crochet Basket Workshop, West Elm, Kingston Sat 10 March 2018 10:30am – 13:00pm

WEST ELM KINGSTON, The Bentall Centre, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1TP

Join Rachel Rogers for a morning of crafty fun. Learn to crochet a basket using high quality recycled t-shirt yarn, perfect for the environmentally conscious maker. Rachel will guide you through all the steps to make this gorgeous and practical basket, a perfect accessory for every home.

This workshop is perfect for both beginners and those with the crochet know how, who perhaps haven’t worked with chunky yarns before. You will learn the double and slip stitch, how to work in the round and make a yarn colour change. Everything you need will be supplied.

Tickets £40.00 each and includes:

  • Everything you need to make your basket including a selection of lovely yarn colours to choose from and a 9mm hook.
  • The basket pattern and step by step guide for you to take away with you.
  • A light snack and refreshment.

Many of Rachels students have caught the crochet bug and go away making a varied selection of baskets in all sizes.
