To help make the season extra special, The Bentall Centre, Kingston will be hosting some extra-special festive activities including a Christmas calligraphy session, Alice In Wonderland themed cookie decorating, wreath making with Kikki K, and appearances from local choirs, to fill the centre with festive song!

Kikki K wreath making workshop on Thursday 30 November from 6:30-8:30pm

The Bloom & Wild experts will teach guests how to make their very own Christmas wreath, to take away and hang at home. There will be a selection of beautiful seasonal flowers available to design your unique creation. During the workshop the Kikki K team will deliver a session on how to get organised for Christmas. Tickets are £25 and include a 20% discount on all Kikki K purchases made in store that day.

Master the art of calligraphy Friday 1 December

Perfect for those Christmas party invitations and hand written gift tags! There will be two session on the day, the first from 11am-12pm and the second from 3-4pm. (Free booking for Session One 11am-12pm here Free booking for Session Two 3-4pm here)

Alice In Wonderland themed cookie decorating workshop Saturday 16 December

Cookie Girl will be hosting an Alice In Wonderland themed cookie decorating workshop from 2-4pm on the Lower Ground Floor. Children and adults will be welcomed to come along and get creative with their culinary skills and turn their hand to the art of cookie decorating. Take home and enjoy with a nice warm drink or save for Santa! The event is free to join and booking is not required, just drop by between 2-4pm.

Kingston Children’s Literary Festival

This Christmas, Kingston upon Thames launches the Kingston Children’s Literary Festival and invites children and parents alike to listen to some of their tales from a line up some of the UK’s best-loved children’s authors in the lead-up to Christmas. Join Olaf Falafel for a 30 minute reading from his book, Father Christmas Heard a Parp on the Lower Ground Floor at The Bentall Centre on Saturday 2 December from 2-2:30pm. Recommended for ages 4 and up, the event is free.

Gift wrapping service by The Rainbow Trust Charity Mon 18 December to Sat 23 December

They will be on hand from 11am-7pm each day, to help wrap your Christmas shopping and take the stress of the festive preparation! All proceeds will be donated to the Rainbow Trust, the official charity of The Bentall Centre 2017.

Throughout the festive period, numerous local choirs will be appearing at The Bentall Centre to perform for shoppers. Canbury Singers will treating passersby to festive song on Thursday 21 December, with many more choirs yet to be announced!
