The Ancient Market Place in Kingston has been home to a thriving market since the 1100s. Here is a round up of the old and the newer markets in and around the area.

In Kingston town centre close to the river, the Ancient Market place has a vibrant food market on most days selling fruit, vegetable, fish and bread. The Market Place also serves up international food and plays host to entertainment throughout the year including music, dance and theatre. Open six days a week, Monday – Saturday, from 9am – 5pm

This is a general market selling fruit, veg, meat, fish, bread, clothes, fabric, clothes and more. It takes up the ground level of the Cattle Market car park in front of the Kingfisher Leisure Centre – close to Kingston Museum.
