The Canbury Arms   www.thecanburyarms.com

The Canbury Arms is a traditional pub with a modern attitude. It serves beautifully prepared food made from locally-sourced ingredients. The Canbury is famous for its breakfasts and the ever-changing menu, which is served all day, caters for all tastes.
The lunches range from sandwiches, hotpots and salads to a Lebanese mezze plate, salmon fishcakes and ribeye steak. The evening menu features many of these and lots more, including specials. The pub has an extensive wine list which helpfully gives descriptions and lots of useful information about the wines. A wide variety of lagers and real ales are available.
The stripped wooden floors, fresh flowers and helpful waiting staff make for a really enjoyable drinking and dining experience. Check the website or ring 020 8255 9129 for details or to discuss
The Canbury as a venue for your special event. The Canbury, which has seating inside and out, can be found at 49 Canbury Park Road, Kingston, and is just a few minutes walk from the town centre, Odeon cinema, train station and The River Thames.

The Waggon & Horses Surbiton

The Waggon and Horses SurbitonThe Waggon & Horses is at 1 Surbiton Hill Road, Surbiton, Surrey, KT6 4TW.

Waggon and Horses, which can trace its history back to 1807, was recently taken over by brother and sister duo Stephen and Mary King. A lovely traditional pub in the centre of Surbiton with private room and patio garden.
This character pub offers excellent all home-made cuisine.

Situated at the bottom of a steep hill, in the late 1800s the Waggon drew most of its trade from the carriers resting their horses before climbing up the hill. Infact, during the 19th Century an extra horse was even kept at the pub to help any waggoner with the ascent.
Another proud regular in the Camra's Good Beer Guide.

Bacchus Late Bar & Venue   www.bacchuslatebar.co.uk

20 years ago saw the opening of Bacchus as a Blues wine bar, and by the late 80’s, the venue introduced DJ’s playing the sounds of Funk and Disco. More live gigs were to follow in the early 90’s including Indie/Rock bands such as Dodgy, Kula Shaker and The Bluetones, all of whom went on to enjoy great chart success. This combination of DJ and gig nights has continued, and today the current crop of local bands can be seen at the venue as well as regular DJ nights of Alternative/Rock, Hip-Hop/Funk, Disco/Cheese etc.Throughout the years, Bacchus has kept its promise of being Kingston’s true alternative music venue for both students and regulars alike, and has embodied the real meaning of its name, the Roman God of wine and intoxication.
