This concert will be John Bate’s farewell concert with Thames Philharmonic Choir – he retires this summer after 55 years as the Choir’s founder conductor.

It will include performances of:

Ralph Vaughan Williams: Five Mysical Songs
Charles Villiers Stanford: Songs of the Fleet
Gershwin: Songs from the shows

Plus organ music by Howells
