The Prudential RideLondon is a legacy of the 2012 Olympic Games. It’s an annual 2 day festival of cycling developed by the Mayor of London which, in 2015, took place on Saturday 1st August and Sunday 2nd August. The event passes twice through Kingston upon Thames.

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park → Canary Wharf → City of London → Piccadilly → A4 Hammersmith → cross Thames at Chiswick → through Richmond Park → through Kingston town centre → crossing Hampton Court Bridge → Newlands Corner → Abinger Hammer → Holmbury St Mary → Leith Hill →Dorking Box Hill → Leatherhead → Oxshot → Esher → through Kingston town centre → Putney Bridge → Parliament Square → Whitehall → Trafalgar Square, with riders streaming under Admiralty Arch before a spectacular finish on The Mall.
