Wildlife Garden and riverside maintenance
Set up in 2019, Queen’s Promenade Friends is a local group with an aim to improve Queen’s Promenade in Kingston upon Thames after a reduction in council maintenance and care of the site.
In a short time they have had a real impact creating a haven for wildlife and a verdant oasis for visitors to this stretch of the river on the Portsmouth Road between Kingston and Surbiton.
The group is open to all ages and it’s free to join. There are regular volunteering events. For more information see their Facebook page or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
