The Real Eating Company in Kingston upon Thames

The Real Eating Company is a South East based, independent cafe and restaurant company.

Created in January 2004 by Helena Hudson, The Real Eating Company believes in great, local food and drink. Their food is made on site, every day and the focus is on freshness, quality and excellent service. They have outlets in Bournemouth, Chichester, Lewes, Horsham or Salisbury and the latest addition is in Montezuma’s, Fife Road, Kingston.

It’s a small working restaurant kitchen, baking croissants, frittatas and home cooked food daily. All sandwiches, toasties and salads are made from scratch on site. Fresh fruit and vegetables are delivered daily, washed, prepared, cut and cooked in the kitchen – even the oranges are squeezed each morning.

Keen to source high-quality produce from local suppliers in the South East, The Real Eating Company uses a small family-owned business for their fabulous, freshly roasted coffee. Their pressed apple juice is from the Wobblegate, family run, orchard in Horsham. Their Jams and marmalade are made in Uckfield, Sussex.

Breakfast favourites such as Eggs Benedict, Eggs Royale and smoked salmon & avocado are served all day. Light dishes such as frittata, goats cheese & mushroom lasagna, sandwiches, toasties and cakes are also served throughout the day.
