Ever wanted to try dancing like Mr Darcy and Elizabeth with all the grace and style of Jane Austen’s era? Now’s your chance!

Classes are run on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays each month except in August.
Venue: St Mark’s Church Hall, Church Hill Road, Surbiton KT6 4LS
Time: 8 – 10.30pm. Cost: £5 per evening. Tea & refreshments included.
No partners necessary.

Tea dances are held through the year

Mrs Bennet’s Ballroom is not a course – you can join at anytime and there is no need to pay a term in advance.

A Dancing Mistress will instruct you in the art and etiquette of the Regency ballroom!
For those unfamiliar with Regency dances imagine the scene in Pride & Prejudice
when Elizabeth dances with Mr Darcy!

No previous experience is necessary. No costume is required. No partners necessary.
What to wear: flexible soft-soled shoes and comfortable lightweight clothing.

The classes take place in the lovely new church hall on the side of St Mark’s Church.
There is a wooden dance floor. Tea & coffee will be available.
Free on-street parking in Church Hill Road in the evening.
