Music in Kingston 17th May 2025

Music in Kingston is back for another year!

Join us for an afternoon of performances, workshops, and exhibitions from some of the most exciting music makers in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. It’s free and open to all!

Performances:Look forward to a performance every half hour from young musicians across the borough. First to perform is  the choir of All Saints Church.

Workshops: Get involved in 15min taster sessions from some of our wonderful exhibitors. Places are limited to 20 participants per session on a first come first served basis; please visit our workshop station on the day to sign up for the sessions you would like to join.

Exhibition: This is your opportunity to explore many of the amazing musical organisations active in the Royal Borough of Kingston. You will be able to:

• Speak to our exhibitors about what they do
• Try a variety of instruments
• Learn about instrumental lessons, curricular music, and ensemble opportunities in the borough.

Kingston Music Service (KMS) offers a range of music activities for young people and adult learners at home, in school and at four music centres across the borough. KMS is a Local Authority service and, as a member of South West London Music Ltd, receives core funding from Arts Council England. Working with various partners, KMS endeavours to create joined up music education provision in the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames.
