A Family Affair

You’re invited to the Spring Grove Fringe’s event – The Templeton Teapot (one act play) and A Family Secrets Quiz.

Friday 3rd October and Saturday 4th October at 7:30pm-10pm

St John’s Parish Hall: Grove Lane, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 2SU

A one-act domestic farce, The Templeton Teapot, will be followed by supper, after which you will be able to unravel some puzzles in the Family Secrets quiz.

The play, by Grace Cooke Strong, features a piece of silverware which has been in the family of antiques collector Mr Horace Templeton for centuries. But who will inherit it? Who does his only daughter want to marry? What has excited her? The neighbours’ burglar alarm goes off, but is it a burglar? We shall weave these threads together for you!

The quiz will not enquire into the Templeton family, or yours! But your table will be able to compete for some fine prizes … though no silver teapot!

Tickets £25, including supper. Licensed bar (card or cash).
