This Christmas, Putney Light Operatic Society (PLOS) invites you to an enchanting pantomime adventure packed with laughter, music and a touch of magic! Sword in the Stone brings the legend of young Arthur to life — a humble squire destined to become king, if he can only pull the mighty sword from its stone. Along the way he’s guided (and occasionally misled) by the eccentric Merlin, faces the wicked Morgana and her hapless apprentice Mim, and learns that true strength lies in courage and kindness.

Expect spectacular dance numbers, sparkling costumes, and a mix of toe-tapping tunes from Let Me Entertain You to Rewrite the Stars and A Star Is Born. With mischief, magic and a dash of mayhem in every scene, it’s the perfect festive treat for all ages — whether you’re cheering for the heroes or booing the villains!

Putney Light Operatic Society (PLOS) is a thriving community theatre group based in south-west London, entertaining audiences for over 75 years with their high-energy musicals, plays and family pantomimes.
